The final and official count for the Samoa general election 2021 is now under way.
By 11pm last night, all special votes had finally been sorted to the electoral constituencies - all done in the presence of official scrutineers.
We received nearly 1.50 to 2.50 rain in central Missouri over the weekend so the drier weather this week is helpful!
Rain chances are near zero to begin this week. The next chance for rain is expected later this week on Friday and early Saturday morning. Overall the weekend ahead appears more cloudier than sunny, but mostly rain free after Saturday.
There is a slight chance for rain tonight-tomorrow morning close to the I-44 corridor, but air will likely be too dry to impact the KOMU 8 viewing area.
Otherwise, expect cooler temperatures through the coming week. Today s high of 64° will likely be the warmest of the 8-day forecast.
A beautiful amount of color on trees and bushes should make for a very photogenic Easter weekend.

The National Weather Service also is asking Missouri residents to be very cautious if burning any brush piles today and this weekend. Dry, windy conditions could lead to uncontrolled fires.

FREEZE WARNING
Another freeze warning is in effect for central Missouri Thursday night through Friday morning. Overnight temps are expected to fall below freezing again, ranging from 25-30 degrees.
